We are building something that matters. Come and build it with us.
A grain quality hub in Uganda, and everything around it: the farms, the training, the technology. Building that takes every kind of person, on site and far from it.
Not just the people at the gate
Yes, we need plant operators and lab technicians. We also need project managers, engineers, agronomists, teachers, finance people, communicators, and someone who can feed a site crew properly.
Some of that is on site in Uganda. A lot of it can be done from anywhere with a laptop and a good reason to care. If you have expertise and you want to point it at something real, we want to hear from you before we need you, because that is how we will build the team.
What you get. Real responsibility early, training from the people who make the equipment, and a hand in a facility that farmers will depend on for decades.

Where you might fit
Six kinds of work. If yours is not on the list, tell us anyway. We hire on ability.
- Operations and engineering
Plant and process operators, mechanical and electrical engineers, maintenance. Keeping German processing equipment running through two harvests a year.
On site - Quality and laboratory
Aflatoxin and moisture testing on every lot, quality systems, and the record keeping that makes a certificate mean something.
On site - Farmer programmes and training
Agronomists, trainers and teachers working with cooperatives on drying, storage and handling, and running the test farms.
On site, some remote - Project and business
Project managers, finance, procurement, legal, communications. The people who turn a plan into a building and a building into a business.
Remote or hybrid - Technology and data
Agri-tech, traceability, sensors, software, data. Tools that help farmers and buyers see what the grain is.
Remote or hybrid - Site life
Drivers, security, administration, and cooks. A site runs on the people who keep it running.
On site
Hire and train locally, bring in expertise from anywhere, and make sure the skill stays when the season ends.
How we intend to build the team
Put yourself on the list
Not a cover letter. One honest paragraph about you and the work you want to do, and your CV if you have one. People on the list hear first.
- Where
- On site in Uganda, remote, or a mix. Each role says which.
- When
- We are building now. Some roles start before the facility opens, most at commissioning. The list is how we find you first.
- Training
- Operators and technicians are trained by the equipment manufacturers. The aim is a portable, technical career.
- Your data
- Your application and CV are stored securely and read only by the A.B.I. team. Ask us to delete them at any time at contact@afrikabizinvestments.com.
